The more I see the round-robin system in the ATP tournament less I like it! Simply because at a certain point of the tournament, it leads to some very questionable games like the one between Andy Roddick and Roger Federer. It is clear to me that since losing to Nikolay Davydenko Francisco Gonzales had was automatically qualified Roddick wins or loses, if he the 1 Record against Federer, he believed he would lose his energy for the semi-final against David Ferrer and saveFederer made with nemesis Rafael Nadal by not fighting! This does not mean Roddick, I would avoid the favor of the Swiss, even if he had tried his best. The point is, would in a regular ATP tour event as part of the professional code of conduct is not Andy Roddick fought strongly for the lack of performance against Roger Federer (!) Fine condemned.
"Officcial ATP Rule Book
7.03 PLAYER Code of Conduct (CODE)

In cases that flagrant and particularly injurious to the success of a tournament, or are extremely severe, a single violation of this section also appliesMajor players in the offense increased behavior. "
Apart from this "incident" I have my eye on Roger Federer and his power to concentrate. Sublime?
Francisco Gonzales to forget that the game played his life against Roger Federer in the first round-robin play and in the process has shown that if, within minutes of the baseline and punch toe to toe with the "King" ( as Nalbandian has) and put his "majesty" on the run, you can come as a winner in aFight! As I have mentioned in the past, you have your chances of Roger's second service, took the Francisco. I think someone in the area has been read my articles! It must be verified in the e-mail for me! :))
Do we have to remove the "royal arch" and the hat as the mosqueteers has the King Louis? Nikolay Davydenko with a game Federer bring despair, but then with less nerve-a chinchilla, again twice complained over and over again (like at the U.S. Open)To win hand to Roger on a silver platter. Does this mean that not playing Federer good? ... I dare say, was a defeat for Federer after bowing to Nalbandian in Madrid and Paris twice a ripe, and Gonzales, not even 48 hours ago. He saw not only the usual Federer confidently. But a victory is a victory and Roger fully deserves.
According to Roger Federer's smash I was a little with the victory once again there was nothing better to boost his confidence then a fewmore mouthfuls of the elixir of victory, and sure enough commitment Roddick. The score speaks louder than words, R Federer (SUI) d (5) A Roddick (USA) 64 62.
Leaving Roddick licking his wounds, Roger Federer had more important things on his agenda, which is a lesson to one of his formidable opponent, Rafael Nadal to teach. Oh man, like Roger want to beat off the diving Spaniard with his fist pumps and loud cries of "Vamos" and "Ole" from the crowd! No, Nadal not whatcome, but by the time he realized it was delivered to the express letter and read the bottom line (1) R Federer (SUI) d (2) R Nadal (ESP) 64 61.
Looking at the spots can performances recently by Rafael conclude it, his career in a rut. He knows he needs to improve his net game, and closer to the baseline. But are the challenges, his coaching staff know what is a volley? ... Or they have no idea how to attack? Train ... or at least, what is a serve and volley combination? I knowShake your head side to side to say no! In addition to the baseline, Nadal have the big wind-up swings, and his heavy topspin ground strokes in his plastic surgery for efficiency as compared to expenses. To perform all these laborious tasks Nadal takes time, so he gets 3 to 4 feet behind the baseline and that something is Federer and "others" have learned on pick and forward inside the court and beat up on every short ball Nadal hits and they march up the lines then close with a volley. Thisis what I have been waiting for Federer for the last 4 years!
Next was David Ferrer, Valliant is a worthy opponent, but Roger Federer was not there, a prisiones of what's ailing Spanish Armada left and Ferrer went to fall victim to take that dictum. ATTACK !!... and an attack was to serve and volley combination Roger measured with the usual dose of discs that I have not yet been named, but are so effective that the Davidenkos, Roddick, Nadal and the totality ofATP Tour players before their matches against Federer, breaking into tears, get on your knees and pray he plays more topspin backhand on the day, better just to allow them a bit! Federer has no time for such appeals nor mercy and ruthlessly punished! ... And then to add insult to injury Federer finally decided to run the extra nonsense is miles every game and decided to curtail, to drop points heartless short balls at every opportunity, which on the whole lineConcept-shot, and finally throws the serve and volley into the mix as well. Hallelujah!
Here's how Alberto Eleta a die hard fan of Roger describes it from his perspective:
"Well, Sergio, it looks like Roger has finally owned the game at the net, and he is no longer a suspicion on his forehand volley. It is a thrill to see him, a new dimension to his game that is now nearing It is a whole arsenal of weapons. I watched him lose Nalbandian and Gonzalez, but hedidn't the game shows he closed the meeting with Shanghai against Ferrer. I think he `s finally understood that the network, where he needs to win big and from now on, consistently. I have seen him attack as never before from the positions that he would only keep on rallying from the baseline too. If he can slice his backhand with more power (or) a flatter backhand, he was even able to attack second is like Mac is wont to do. Guess he hasn't yet realized how good his disk can, and when to combine itfrom the baseline with a flatter backhand, it would force more opportunities to attack by short balls from the opponents. If he can get at this level, he would probably be the greatest tennis player in history.
Regards, Alberto. "
All I add is ... Federex and the package delivered to David in a hurry; (1) R Federer (SUI) d (6) D Ferrer (ESP) 62 63 62.
Enjoy "The Game". :-)
