I ordered two of these for a HTPC build on which I'm working. They're replacing two WD Caviar Black 500g drives in a RAID 0 configuration. They work Great! Very Quite and Fast. Not quite as fast as the WDs, but much quiter. The only problem I am having, and I am not sure if its the drives, my RAID controler software, or my MB BIOS, but I am only able to utilize 1.1t of space per drive for a total of 2.2t. That means I have lost 800g of storage. I have not had the time to research whats causing the problem, since it could be the drives I give them four stars. All in all a good product

Great Value for the Money - NoPCZone - Sunbelt
Dropped a couple of these into my Mac Pro, one from Amazon and one bought elsewhere and have no trouble whatsoever. They take almost no time to install on a Mac Pro (they mount on a sled and have no cables to fuss with on the Mac Pro) and have worked flawlessly. 1.5 TB at this price is a great deal.

I had one for 1 year and 3 weeks that bricked up. 3 weeks past the warranty. I would not be as ticked off if this was not a known issue with these things. Just google "Barracuda bricked hard drive" or "Tick tick tick... significant number of Seagate hard drives failing".
The company has a wonderful 0.00 program to get you your data back, great.
I just went out and bought a Western Digital, which I would highly recommend over Seagate crap.
