I was looking for a 1 TB hard drive at a good price to put in my PC that I was upgrading to Windows 7. I found the same drive elsewhere for .99 and was going to order it. Before I did I checked Amazon and found it for less and with free shipping. The order came in less than a week even with the free shipping.
The drive itself installed with no problems and seems reasonably fast.
If your buying this same drive, remember this is an OEM drive with no cables, install disks or documentation.

I found this a good hard drive, shipped fast and packaged well, but I was unable to put an operating system on it. I am using it for photo storage, which seems to be normal for the larger drives.

This is a quiet and decent speed hard drive. Very good for backup data purpose. I enjoy having it for my backup.
Good but check compatablity with motherboard - Paul Obe - Bowie, MD USA
This product is great but make sure you check if your motherboard can read 1TB of data. Mine couldn't so I made it into a external drive with two partitions of 500gb. Low noise and a great price when I purchased it.
